Oh I remember having a set of those, but the theme was fairy tales or nursery rhymes, I loved it. I have (I hope you don't mind) added your blog to Astrid's page- I did last week, if you are happy with me doing that - I am happy to do so ๐ค๐ค๐
I used to have a set of blocks like those, I can't remember the exact pictures on them but I do remember mixing them up so the animals had the wrong heads, legs and tails :)
I immediately thought of the set of blocks that Kate had when she was little and then passed on to her brother. She is right, they were nursery rhymes. A good interpretation of the word 'farm'.
You've managed to do them all very well. I'll echo what others have said here as I remember having a box of these as a child too :-) keep well Amanda x Crafty in the Med

What beautiful blocks. Quite a challenge without the pictures and each block having 6 available sides! The one with the geese is my favourite.
ReplyDeleteOoooh I remember having some of those when I was little too. I used to love playing with them. ๐

ReplyDeleteOh they're so cute Julie - I remember seeing them but never had them - but I do remember having all the wee farm animals - great memories :)

ReplyDeleteI love your version of farm! My boys have something like that, but it's Winnie the Pooh. Thanks for sharing these adorable blocks.
